And so on. That’s why it’s incredibly important to focus on beliefs if you want to sell them anything. That’s especially true when we’re talking about high-ticket items.
This is why they spend the entire first week of OFA working on beliefs. Not just beliefs in general. First on shifting your beliefs. Stephen does an amazing job of this through telling stories that crush false beliefs. Because, at the end of the day, that’s how you break a false belief pattern. You have to tell a story that will help to crush a false belief and replace it with a new belief.

Week 2 – Offers
The second week of the OFA Challenge focuses on offers. If you thought the first week was epic, hold on for a wild ride here. Stephen Larsen does such an incredible job breaking down every element of the offer. He also goes into deep detail about why they talk about beliefs before offers. Beliefs are crucial to creating offers because you need to understand what your prospect believes in. If you don’t understand their beliefs, making an offer will feel incredibly difficult.
While Russel discuses an overview of offers, Stephen Larsen dives deep into offer creation. He uses lots of stories from his personal life to help you understand how false beliefs are an integral part of creating offers and the process of selling someone anything. Aside from week 1, week 2 is massively eye-opening. This is especially true if you’re a newcomer to the world of online marketing.
There’s also a lot of time spent discussing the attractive character here. Russell and Stephen are adamant about things like publishing every single day and why you have to be out there. Week 3 – Story Selling
Stories are huge. One of the things that Russell learned early on is the importance of stories. He talks about how he once hired Michael Hauge, a world-renowned Hollywood movie script writer, to come speak at one of his events. He explains just how much he learned from him about effective story telling. You see, stories are like the glue in selling. They piece things together and help things make sense. But stories are also integral in amplifying your message and breaking false beliefs.
At the core of all this is the notion that you’re taking the prospect on a journey. Your personal journey, also known as your origin story, is crucial in helping prospects embark on their own journeys. Why? Because, often, your prospects are usually at the point right now that you were before you had your big epiphany (a-ha moment). Then, you started geeking out, as Russell calls it, on everything related to the topic. But the real reason why the journey is important is because there are always two journeys everyone must go through when trying to accomplish that one big thing.
There’s the first journey. This is called the journey of desire. They want the house, the car, the money or whatever else it might be. That much is clear and obvious. But there’s a second, more important journey called the journey of transformation. This is who you become while working to reach this desire. Whether you attain the desire or not, the internal transformation is huge. Who you become as a result of what you desire is a major part of life and arguably our existence here. Yes, very existential. I know. But also very true.

Week 4 – Building Your Sales Funnel
Week four of the OFA challenge is devoted to sales funnels and using ClickFunnels to build out the pages in the funnel. They even provide a shared funnel. Meaning that you directly clone this into your ClickFunnels account to go live fast. All you have to do is change around some of the elements and you’re off to the races. However, Russell and Stephen also do a great job of piecing together the different elements of the sales funnel and their importance, using real world examples.
The OFA Challenge is the best $100 that you will ever spend. It will seriously open up your eyes to a new world. I’m not just saying that because I’m an affiliate. Okay. Maybe week 5 of the One Funnel Away Challenge isn’t called ‘Got Traffic?’ But it’s kind of amusing, isn’t it? Traffic is pretty important to the success of any business, wouldn’t you say? I mean, think about it. When you’re leasing a retail location in say a shopping mall (yeah, I know, a thing of the past these days) you’re paying for location. Foot traffic, that is. When you place your items for sale on Amazon, you’re also paying for those same eyeballs.
My point is that traffic is important. And the one thing that often holds most people back from diving into funnel building is the false belief that they can’t get traffic.
