What happened in Mikki Mase’s life that gave him such an astronomical net worth? And how does he have an edge over the house? I’m going to share all of the details with you here so make sure you keep reading.

Why Is Mikki Mase So Famous?

Okay. Let’s rewind the clock back several years and go on a trip into Mikki Mase’s past. To truly understand why he’s so famous, we need to understand where he comes from. No, Mikki Mase does not come from a wealthy family. He did not inherit a bunch of money. If you’ve heard a rumor like that it is absolutely, unequivocally false.

The truth is that Mikki Mase comes from humble beginnings. Let’s set the scene. Drag racing. New Jersey. 1991. A young Mikki Mase was born to a father who was a professional racer. Young Mase was riding around on bikes as early as 6 months old and that’s when his love for racing was born. When Mase was 2 years old, his father had a wild crash, sending him over the handlebars and onto the surgery table.

After that, Mase’s father gave up on racing. But that’s where Mikki’s love for the sport blossomed. Mikki’s early years included races with the likes of Jason Lawrence, Davie Milsapps, The Alessi Brothers, Frankie Lateri, Little Spangler, Garett Tosh, Shawn Hackley and Malcolm Stewart. However, Mase’s father was sent away to prison for his involvement in organized crime.

At that point, everything spiraled. Mase was in and out of trouble at school all the time. And his family’s financial woes worsened by the day. Eventually, he found himself locked up in prison for selling drugs. Then, on the streets, homeless in Washington Heights. Addicted to drugs. With no hope at all for the future.

That’s when an old friend reached out and threw him a lifeline. And Mase chose to work for him at his tattoo shop in exchange for a place to live.

From Homelessness To Business Owner

After his stint working at a tattoo shop, Mase was invited to work various renovation jobs. He quickly picked up skills of the trade in construction. He was fast on his feet, and his real rise from failure came when he started working construction at a rehabilitation center. From there, he quickly developed a diverse set of skills to break out on his own.

As a former drug addict, it made sense. And Mase decided to open up his own rehabilitation center. He realized he was shrewd in business. It was more than just an impeccable work ethic. His exceptional intelligence set him apart. From first grade until he turned 15, he consistently demonstrated genius-level intellect in tests.

Mase expanded his footprint, establishing a vast network of pharmacies, rehabilitation centers, and clinical labs. At the age of 28, he made the unexpected decision to sell his business. Despite his astounding success, he always led a simple life and felt fulfilled with his achievements. Seeking a deeper experience of life, he declared, “For the first time in my life, I was a free man and can see what life is. I retired.”

When Did Mikki Mase Start Gambling?

Gambling has been part of Mikki Mase’s life since very early on. In fact, as a kid, he often talks about winning in gambling against many of the Jewish kids in his neighborhood who had large savings from their Bar-mitzvahs. He even once won a substantial some against one of the dads in his neighborhood, who had to pay him the balance by check.

So how was Mikki Mase so good at gambling? Did he cheat? Was there a method he implemented? The truth is that Mase has always had a knack for math. And cards are, after all, one big math probability equation. But that doesn’t mean that Mikki Mase counts cards. There are sophisticated systems for spotting card counters at casinos these days and there’s just no way around this.

But Mase’s early days of gambling paved the road ahead. The truth is that Mase has been through numerous runs and dry spells. However, one such spell had him go from being down to his last $200, to up over $800,000. In another situation, he went from $50,000 to $6.2 million. Those are some wild swings to say the least.

Since Mase has a long history with gambling, it doesn’t mean that it’s all been rainbows and sunshine. There were periods where he could not win no matter what he did. Mase also constantly complains about how casinos have cheated him. But we still get back to the primary question that is every single red-blooded human’s mind: How does Mikki Mase consistently beat the odds at casinos to win millions of dollars?

Mikki Mase’s Baccarat Strategy

If you follow Mase or watch any of his videos, he repeatedly says that playing cards is not about feelings. You can’t get a feel for the cards. It doesn’t work that way. If you listen to the things that he says, you’ll know that Mase has a strategy. He just doesn’t publicly declare it to anyone. Remember that Mase has an above-average intellect, which gives him a statistical edge.

So what is his actual strategy playing cards? When it comes to a game like Baccarat, you have to realize that the house has a very small edge. Unless you’re betting the tie, which is roughly around a 14.36% edge for the house, you’re roughly at about 1%. More specifically, a bet on player is a house edge of 1.24% and a bet on banker is a 1.06% edge.

Your odds are far better than in blackjack if you look at a simple statistical mode. But can you actually win long-term when playing a game like Baccarat? Here’s what he says:

“I’ll say that it’s not impossible. I’m not the smartest man in the world, but I was able to pick up a few key note behaviors and characteristics in cards as well as the marketing and development of games in a casino. So if you can do a little reverse engineering to figure out how they’ve created their edge, then it’s not impossible to say that you’ve worked that to your advantage.”

Statistical Models in Baccarat

Keep in mind that Baccarat is a game of chance. And the statistics in the game are drawn from a large sample set. We’re talking hundreds of thousands of hands. To think that you can just sit down and win based on the law of averages is unrealistic unless you can adapt your strategy during card play. But, to give you an idea of statistics in the game, here’s what they look like:

  • The Banker will win approximately 45.9% of games
  • The Player will win approximately 44.6% of games
  • Approximately 9.5% of games will end in a Tie

Meaning that statistically speaking you should bet on the banker and never bet on a tie. So how does Mase win in high-stakes gaming to have an actual edge. To understand that, we have to look deeper at the Law of Averages and pattern recognition.

Law of Averages

Most people think that the Law of Averages is the way to win at card games. But those who think that are sadly mistaken. Yes, the Law of Averages will hold true given a large enough sample set. But when you’re looking at a shoe with 6 or 8 decks, that might not be true at any given point. Sure, the banker has a statistical advantage of 45.9%. But over a smaller number of hands that could vary wildly.

Meaning, you could hit a banker average of 65% or even 15% and in those few hands, you could get wiped out. So thinking that you’ll have an advantage early on is improbable. Again, Mase repeatedly states that you have to able to adapt your game play. When he talks about adapting, he’s talking about statistics and patterns.

Edge Sorting

Some people seem to think that Mase has an advantage over the house through edge sorting. If you don’t know what edge sorting is, it relies on imperfections on the backs of the card to help determine its value. Meaning, you have to have a very keen eye to spot these imperfections. But, if you can spot them on cards that have values of 8 or 9, it gives you a tremendous advantage.

Since the first card is dealt to the player, knowing whether that card is an 8 or a 9 can give you a clear advantage over the house. There’s a very famous lawsuit between Phil Ivy and Cheung Yin ‘Kelly’ Sun that involved edge sorting at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City. The pair won millions of dollars through edge sorting, that led to an 8-year court battle.

How To Use Mikki Mase’s Baccarat Strategy

Clearly, Mikki Mase keeps his baccarat strategy under wraps. But there are some serious clues that exist publicly as to how he does it. Although he does not reveal his pattern, we’ve pieced it together based on many data points. This includes interviews with those closest to Mase who’ve been there with him during his runs at the casinos.

However, Mase does not want this strategy to be publicly revealed. In fact, he often speaks about a day of reckoning where he will bring casinos to their knees because of how they’ve treated him. Whether that happens or not is irrelevant. The truth is that if you want to learn the strategy, make sure you stay tuned here in the coming weeks.
